Regulations on the special economic zone "Saryarka"

Chapter 1. General provisions

1. The special economic zone "Saryarka" (further – SEZ) is located in the territory of the Karaganda region within administrative-territorial borders of the city of Karaganda and Bukhar-Zhyrausky district of the Karaganda region according to the enclosed plan.

SEZ is port special economic zone.

The territory of SEZ constitutes hectare 1271,626, including the airport of "Sara Arch", and is integral part of the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. SEZ is created for the purpose of:
