1. General provisions

1. The special economic zone "National Industrial Petrochemical Technopark" (further – SEZ) is located in the territory of the Atyrau area according to the enclosed plan.

The territory of SEZ constitutes 3614,8437 of hectare and is integral part of the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Are part of the territory of SEZ: Karabatan industrial zones Ploshchad 1619,4477 of hectare and "Technopark" of 285 hectares, gas-separation plant of 100 hectares, gas pipeline Ploshchad 1599,53 of hectare and multipurpose hospital Ploshchad 10,8660 of hectare.

2. SEZ is created for the purpose of development of Atyrau area by investment attraction and creation of highly effective, including high and competitive technology productions, development of releases of new types of products.
