Based on part (1) article 94 of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and article 12 of the Law on state security
The president of the Republic of Moldova DECIDES:
Art. 1. - Approve Regulations on the Supreme council of safety according to appendix.
Art. 2. - Declare invalid the Regulations on the Supreme council of safety approved by the Presidential decree of the Republic of Moldova No. 331-II of October 8, 1997.
Art. 3. - This decree becomes effective from the date of publication.

Art. 1. - The supreme council of safety is the consultative body analyzing activities of the ministries and other central administrative authorities in the field of ensuring national security and represents recommendations to the President of the Republic of Moldova concerning foreign and domestic policy of the state.
Art. 2. - The supreme council of safety performs the activities according to the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, the Law on state security, other legal acts and this provision.
