About introduction of amendments to article 11 of the Law of Ukraine "About currency and currency transactions" concerning accomplishment of functions of agents of currency supervision by banks

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Part the seventh article 11 of the Law of Ukraine "About currency and currency transactions" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2018, No. 30, Art. 239; 2020, 25, the Art. 171) after paragraph two to add No. with the new paragraph of the following content:

"Banks communicate about belonging of customer accounts to bank accounts, open nonresidents, for the purpose of implementation of currency supervision of the currency transactions performed by their clients through these banks. The National Bank of Ukraine establishes procedure for maintaining and use by banks of records of the account register of the information system providing collection, accumulating, storage, access and use by banks of information on belonging of accounts to bank accounts, open nonresidents".

II. Final provisions

1. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day, but not earlier than day of entry into force of the Law of Ukraine "About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine of rather single questions of activities of the National Bank of Ukraine", except Item 2 of this Section which becomes effective on September 25, 2021, but not earlier than day of publication of this Law.

2. Provisions of Item 3 of this Section are applied since September 25, 2021.
