About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning functioning of the National agency on quality assurance of the higher education

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to the following laws of Ukraine:

1. Part the second article 19 of the Law of Ukraine "About the higher education" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2014, No. 37-38, of Art. 2004; 2017, 380) to state Art. No. 38-39, in the following edition:

"2. The structure of the National agency on quality assurance of the higher education is created in the following structure:

1) three persons who are elected from among representatives of the All-Ukrainian Unions of the organizations of employers;

2) two persons from among job seekers of the higher education of the first or second level;

3) at least one representative from among persons who work on principle place of employment in:

National academy of Sciences of Ukraine;

national industry academy of Sciences (on one representative from each academy);

institution of higher education of the state pattern of ownership;

institution of higher education of utility pattern of ownership;

institution of higher education of private pattern of ownership.

When forming structure of the National agency on quality assurance of the higher education the requirement for providing representation no more than one person from knowledge domain from among the candidates pushed by the subjects specified in Item 3 of this part shall be observed.

Person can be proposed as the alternate member of the National agency on quality assurance of the higher education by the subjects specified in part two of this Article or by self-promotion".

2. The subitem 14 of Item 3 of the Section XII "Final and transitional provisions" of the Law of Ukraine "About education" (2017, Art. No. 38-39, 380) to add sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with the paragraph the second the following content:
