About conditions of temporary import of goods and vehicles on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan

For the purpose of realization of provisions of the Customs code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and streamlining of conditions of temporary import on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan of goods and vehicles the Cabinet of Ministers decides:

1. Approve Rules of temporary import of goods and vehicles on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to appendix.

Enact the specified Rules since September 15, 2004.

2. Determine that since September 15, 2004 goods placement under temporary import regime is performed with payment of periodical customs payments for each complete and incomplete calendar month of finding of goods in temporary import regime in the amount of 5 percent from the amount of customs duties and taxes which are subject to payment in case of the room of temporarily imported goods under customs regime of release for free circulation on the date of their customs clearance.

Concerning the goods and vehicles placed till September 15, 2004 under temporary import regime on customs area of the Republic of Uzbekistan with full relief from customs duties and taxes before the expiration of their temporary import the conditions of customs regime of temporary import operating on the date of adoption by customs authorities of the customs declaration and other documents remain.

3. The following goods determined according to the legislation are not subject to the room under temporary import regime:

the goods prohibited to import and transit in/through the Republic of Uzbekistan;

waste;

the electric power, water, deliveries of goods on pipelines (oil, gas), and also fuel;

goods which import is quoted;
