About approval of the Regulations on voluntary forming of territorial communities

According to the paragraph to third "About bases of national resistance" the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides parts two of article 8 of the Law of Ukraine:

1. Approve Regulations on voluntary forming of territorial communities which are applied.

2. To the ministries and other central executive bodies to bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this resolution.

Regulations on voluntary forming of territorial communities

1. This Provision determines procedure for education and activities of voluntary forming of territorial communities (further - voluntary forming), acquisitions and the terminations of membership in voluntary forming.

In this Provision the term "voluntary forming of territorial communities" is used in the value given in article 1 of the Law of Ukraine "About bases of national resistance" (further - the Law), the term "territorial community" - in the value given in article 1 of the Law of Ukraine "About local self-government in Ukraine".

2. Within the tasks of territorial defense determined by the Law, voluntary forming can perform such activities:

1) timely to react and take necessary measures for defense of the territory and protection of the population in certain area until expansion within such territory of group of troops (forces) or group of the integrated forces intended for conducting military (fighting) operations on repulse of the armed aggression against Ukraine;
