About introduction of amendments to the Law on attraction of foreign investments in production of movies and other audiovisual works No. 154/2018

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on attraction of foreign investments in production of movies and other audiovisual works No. 154/2018 (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2018, Art. No. 336-346, 559) to make the following changes:

1. In Article 1:

part (to state 2) in the following edition:

"(2) This law installs the transparent Investing program in the field of production of movies and other audiovisual works (further - the Investing program) intended for stimulation of foreign investments in full or partial production of movies and other audiovisual works. The investing program is applied in the territory of the Republic of Moldova.";

in part (words "physical and" to exclude 7).

2. In Article 2:

state the concept "beneficiary of the Scheme of investments" of the following edition:

"the beneficiary of the Investing program - the legal entity registered in the Republic of Moldova performing activities for full or partial production of movies and/or other audiovisual works;";

state the concept "cultural and production testing" of the following edition:

"qualification testing - the testing based on certain number of the points given to cinema products and other audiovisual works for the purpose of determination whether there correspond the movie or the audiovisual work to requirements of the Investing program and whether they can have the right to financial support.".

3. In Article 3:

in part (1) the words "Agency of investments subordinated to the Government." shall be replaced with words "the National center of cinematography subordinated to the Government.";
