About introduction of amendments to the resolution of Board of the National Bank of Ukraine of February 24, 2022 No. 18

According to Articles 7, 15, 56 Laws of Ukraine "About the National Bank of Ukraine", for the purpose of determination of features of functioning of the monetary and currency markets in the conditions of the warlike situation Board of the National Bank of Ukraine DECIDES:

1. Bring in the resolution of Board of the National Bank of Ukraine of February 24, 2022 No. 18 "About work of bank system during introduction of warlike situation" (with changes) the following changes:

1) in Item 12:

in subitem 2 of the word "foreign financial institutions" to exclude;

to add Item after subitem 2 with new subitem 2-1 of the following content:

"2-1) implementation of currency transactions by bank on exchange of foreign currency with nonresident banks;";

Item 14 to add 2) with two new subitems of the following content:

"23) money transfer in foreign currency from correspondent accounts of the nonresident banks in foreign currency opened in resident banks;

24) transfer by residents of means for the purpose of implementation of agreement settlements of leasing of vehicles, lease of motor transport.";

Item 18-1 to add 3) with the new paragraph of the following content:

"Requirements of paragraph one of Item 18-1 of this resolution do not extend to cases if limit of common long open foreign exchange position of bank (L13-1) was broken in connection with adjustment of the official rate of hryvnia to US dollar which happened on July 21, 2022.";
