for the purpose of suppression, the prevention, identification, disclosure and investigation of criminal infringement of homeland security, violent change of the constitutional system, operational interaction in the solution of questions of fight against the international terrorism, drug trafficking, psychotropic substances and precursors, other dangerous types of crimes and expansions of professional contacts,

proceeding from regulations of the Contract between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan on legal assistance and legal relations on civil, family and criminal cases of December 24, 1996, the Agreement between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on cooperation in fight against crime of July 9, 1999, the Agreement between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on cooperation in fight against drug trafficking, psychotropic substances and precursors of July 9, 1999, and also other international treaties which participants are the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

1. The parties, on the basis of provisions of this agreement, perform cooperation within the competence on the principles of equality, observance of contractual commitments and mutual respect.
