In the Republic of Uzbekistan the consecutive reforms directed to further strengthening of social protection of the population, especially persons with disability, providing their rights and freedoms, material support proceeding from principles of social justice, increase in their level of living are performed.

At the same time there is need of further growth in prosperity of persons with disability on the basis of the principle "For honor and advantage of the person" and review of efficiency of programs of social protection.

This Law serves the prevention of the different approaches arising in case of practical application of the legislation in the field of provision of pensions of citizens and to suppression of the cases generating corruption, to increase in the income of persons with disability on the basis of principle of social justice, worthy assessment of their work and also increase in the size of pension.

Article 1. "k) doctors and average medical personnel of specialized medical institutions in the presence of special length of service at least 25 years in settlements, kishlaks and auls and at least 30 years in the cities (The list No. 3, part VIII)";

Part the seventh Article 19 to add 2) with the offer of the following content:

"The procedure for establishment of education or content of the died stepson (stepdaughter) by the stepfather and the stepmother is determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan";

Article 27 part one Item "g" after the word of "supporter" to add 3) with the words "accepted for calculation of pension";

At the same time recalculation of pension is made proceeding from necessary length of service in relation to the age specified in article 17 of this Law date of the request of the citizen for recalculation of the size of pension";

Article 3. To the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

bring decisions of the government into accord with this Law;

provide review and cancellation by state bodies of their regulatory legal acts contradicting this Law.

Article 4. This Law becomes effective from the date of its official publication.

Items 6 and 8 of article 1 of this Law become effective since January 1, 2023.
