Rules of the organization and functioning of the Single state monitoring system of the environment and natural resources

Chapter 1. General provisions

1. These rules of the organization and functioning of the Single state monitoring system of the environment and natural resources (further – Rules) are developed according to Item 5 of article 152 of the Ecological code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (further – the Code).

2. The single state monitoring system of the environment and natural resources (further – single system) represents the multi-purpose system provided with the state which combines all systems operating in the Republic of Kazakhstan, subsystems and types of monitoring covering directly or indirectly questions of environmental protection, protection, reproduction and use of natural resources, protection of life and (or) human health from impact of harmful factors of the natural and anthropogenous circle, and also impact of climate change and the predicted climate change impacts.
