About additional measures for further expansion of access to justice and increase in efficiency of activity of the courts

The judicial and legal reforms performed in recent years along with ensuring independence of judicial authority, openness and transparency of courts gave opportunity of strengthening of guarantees of protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens and entrepreneurs.

At the same time further expansion of access of the population to justice within the principle "New Uzbekistan - new court" requires acceleration of reforming of judicial system of law, implementation of the advanced international standards to the sphere.

According to the tasks determined in the Strategy of development for new Uzbekistan for 2022 - 2026 and also for the purpose of ensuring authentic independence of judicial authority, increase in efficiency of activity of the courts and quality of administration of law:

1. Approve the short-term Strategy of raising on qualitatively new level of judicial system for 2023 - 2026 (further - Strategy) according to appendix No. 1.

Within Strategy by priority tasks of ensuring justice to determine:

forming of authentic fair judicial system on the basis of the idea "For honor and advantage of the person" and the direction it activities on effective protection of interests of the people and advantage of the person.

enforcement of trust of the people, including entrepreneurs, to judicial system by achievement of adoption of fair judgments, approval in creation of each citizen of image of court and judges as the reliable defenders;

enhancement of the legislation directed to creation of all opportunities for citizens and entrepreneurs on protection of the rights and legitimate interests in courts, complete realization of the principles of competitiveness and equality of the parties in legal proceedings, ensuring objectivity of courts in practice;

complete digitalization of activity of the courts, implementation of technologies of artificial intelligence, improvement of interdepartmental exchange of electronic data, expansion of opportunities of remote participation in judicial sessions;
