About modification of the Order of the Government No. 165/2017 about approval of the Regulations on procedure for calculation of pensions and about procedure for confirmation of insurance years of service for purpose of pensions

Based on the Law No. 156/1998 on the public pension system (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2004, Art. No. 42-44, 247), with subsequent changes, DECIDES: the Government

1. In the Order of the Government No. 165/2017 about approval of the Regulations on procedure for calculation of pensions and about procedure for confirmation of insurance years of service for purpose of pensions (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, Art. No. 85-91, 235), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

The resolution to add 1) with Item 3-1 of the following content:

"3-1. Since January 1, 2023 to National cash desk of social insurance to review, according to part provisions (3) article 8 of the Law No. 156/1998 on the public pension system, old-age pension and the pensions on restriction of opportunities which are granted/reviewed during the period from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2021 for which calculation the insurance years of service included the period, stipulated in Item d) parts (2) article 5 of the Law No. 156/1998 on the public pension system, having taken as basis for calculation of pension for the corresponding period the average monthly salary over the country for date of initial calculation / review of pension.";

2) in appendix No. 1:

a) in item 4:

state the concept "individual account of the national social insurance" of the following edition:

"the personal account of social insurance - the structured information on insured person reflecting the estimated and paid fees of social insurance, the income from which they were estimated benefits of social insurance received by insured person, and also the other information connected with activities of insured person";

state the concept "indexation of pensions" of the following edition:
