About questions of creation of non-commercial joint-stock company "National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan"

The government of the Republic of Kazakhstan DECIDES:

1. Create non-commercial joint-stock company "National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (further – society) with absolute participation of the state in the authorized capital.

2. Determine the main object of activity of society:

1) development of recommendations about determination of the priority directions of scientific, scientific and technical and innovative activities according to priorities of social and economic development, and also the priority directions of strategic, basic and applied scientific research in the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) coordination of preparation and edition of the annual national report on science;

3) coordination of preparation and carrying out foresight researches on development of science;

4) carrying out tenders on competition of personalized awards and grants in the field of science;

5) carrying out scientific research in the different fields of science and technology;

6) edition of scientific magazines, participation in development international scientific and sci-tech cooperation;

7) participation in promoting of science;

8) implementation of other powers, stipulated by the legislation Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. To create the authorized capital of Society by transfer to payment of shares of property according to appendix 1 to this resolution.

4. To provide to committee of state-owned property and privatization of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the Ministry of science and the higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

1) approval of the charter of society;

2) election of person authorized on signing on behalf of society of documents for state registration, implementation of financial and economic activities and representation of its interests before the third parties before formation of bodies of society;
