About modification of some regulations (review of the regulatory base in the field of nondiscrimination and ensuring equality)

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In part (6) article 3-4 of the Law on compensation No. 847/2002 (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2002, Art. No. 50-52, 336), with subsequent changes, the words "Council on the Prevention and Liquidation of Discrimination and Ensuring Equality" shall be replaced with words "Council on questions of equality".

Art. II. - In all text of the Law on providing equal opportunities for women and men No. 5/2006 (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2006, Art. No. 47-50, 200), with subsequent changes, the words "Council on the Prevention and Liquidation of Discrimination and Ensuring Equality" shall be replaced with words "Council on questions of equality" in the corresponding case.

Art. III. - Item d) parts (2) article 8 of the Law on the state position and the status of the government employee No. 158/2008 (2008, Art. No. 230-232, 840), with subsequent changes, after words of "Office of the national lawyer" to add the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova with words ", Council for questions of equality".

Art. IV. - In the Code of the Republic of Moldova about offenses No. 218/2008 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2017, Art. No. 78-84, 100), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:

1. Part (2) Article 54-2 to recognize invalid.

2. Add the Code with Articles 70-2 and 70-3 of the following content:
