About additional measures for production incentive and export of furniture products

For the purpose of providing with engineering and communication infrastructure the small industrial zones specialized on production of furniture products, strengthening of stimulation of export of finished furniture goods and involvement of qualified personnel in industry:

1. Establish procedure according to which during the period from February 1, 2023 to January 1, 2024:

in case of compensation of promotion of export of part of lease payments by the Agency for office buildings, trade and storage facilities abroad to the subjects of entrepreneurship performing export of finished furniture goods, the indicator of space allowance of these non-residential premises increases from 100 square meters to 250 square meters;

in case of involvement of foreign specialists, such as production engineers, masters in lacquer paint and designers, domestic enterprises in which annual revenue the share of receipts from export of finished furniture goods constitutes at least 30 percent at the expense of means of the Agency of promotion of export compensate 25 percent of wage payment of these specialists, but in the part which is not exceeding the 9-fold size of the minimum wage.

At the same time expenses on involvement of foreign specialists of the companies which quarterly export volume exceeds 1 million dollars are compensated following the results of quarter based on the submitted documents to the 10th day of the next month.

2. Extend till January 1, 2024 application of "zero" rate of customs duty when importing to the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan of raw materials, the spare parts, fitment and accessories provided in appendix No. 2 to the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of June 21, 2021 No. PP-5155 "About the measures aimed at the development of the furniture industry in regions of the republic".

3. Apply "zero" rate of customs duty during the period from February 1, 2023 to January 1, 2024 when importing raw materials, spare parts, fitment and accessories used in case of production of furniture according to appendix No. 1.
