1. Create the special economic zone "Alatau" (further - SEZ "Alatau") for the period till 2048.

2. Approve enclosed:

1) Regulations on SEZ "Alatau";

2) SEZ "Alatau" target indicators.

3. This resolution becomes effective from the date of its signing.

Regulations on the special economic zone "Alatau"

1. General provisions

1. The special economic zone "Alatau" (further – SEZ) is located in the territory of the cities of Konayev, Ala Tau and Talgarsky district of Almaty region in borders according to the enclosed plan.

SEZ is port special economic zone.

The territory of SEZ constitutes 97930, hectare, including the territory for development of transport and logistic capacity of the region, including activities of the airports, and is integral part of the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. SEZ is created for the purpose of:

1) providing the favorable investment climate for attraction of domestic and foreign investments, development of multimodal hubs, transport and logistics within project implementation which will give new impulse to development of the region;
