 Based on part one of subitem 1.6 of Item 1 of the Presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus of October 3, 2006 "About streamlining of work of parkings and automobile parkings" the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES: No. 589

1. Approve Rules of the organization (construction), operation of parkings and automobile parkings and use by them (are applied).

2. To provide to the republican state bodies and other state organizations subordinated to the Government of the Republic of Belarus, regional executive committees and the Minsk Gorispolkom reduction of the regulatory legal acts in compliance with this resolution and to take other measures for its realization.

3. This resolution becomes effective since January 1, 2007.

Chapter 1. General provisions

1. These rules establish operating procedure of parkings, automobile parkings, the directions of the parking charge, fee of the operator of the automobile parking, the organization (construction) and operation of parkings and automobile parkings and use by them.

2. For the purposes of these rules terms and determinations in the values established by the Presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus of October 3, 2006 No. 589, and also the following terms and their values are applied:

2.1. the automatic parking – the parking in which ensuring storage of vehicles and access control are performed without direct participation of controllers with use of specialized systems of accounting of entrance departure of vehicles, systems of video surveillance;
