About modification of some regulations

This law shifts parts (2), (14), (19), (20), (27) and (41) Articles 2, part (1) Articles 9, Item c) parts (1) Articles 10, Article 19 and parts (2) and (3) article 20 of the Directive 2014/40/EU of April 3, 2014 on rapprochement of legislative, procedural and administrative provisions of EU member states in the field of production, provision in the market and sales of tobacco products and joint products and about cancellation of the Directive 2001/37/EU (the text concerns the EEA), with the changes made by the Delegated directive of the Commission 2014/109/EU of October 10, 2014.

Art. I. - In the Law on control over tobacco No. 278/2007 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2015, Art. No. 258-261, 489), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:

1. In Article 2:

after the concept "electronic library of warnings of harm for health" to add Article with concept of the following content:

"illegal tobacco product trade - the type of practice or behavior prohibited by the law which is related to production, sending, obtaining, ownership, distribution, sale or acquisition of tobacco products, including the practice or behavior aiming at assistance of such activities;";

after concept "devices and accessories to use, gas station or heating of tobacco products or similar products" to add Article with concept of the following content:

"the equipment for production and any its part (further - the equipment for production) - installations which are intended or adapted for use only for the purpose of tobacco products manufacture and are integral part of process of conversion/production;";

after the concept "tobacco smoke" to add Article with concept of the following content:

"pitch - the raw dehydrated smoke condensate which is not containing nicotine;";

after the concept "ingredient" to add Article with two concepts of the following content:
