About determination of the extent of poverty line
According to Item 3 of article 120 of the Social code of the Republic of Kazakhstan I ORDER:
1. Determine poverty line by the Republic of Kazakhstan:
1) since July 1, 2023 - in the amount of 70 percent from the size of the subsistence minimum calculated in the quarter preceding quarter of the request for purpose of the government address public assistance;
2) since January 1, 2025 - in the amount of 35 percent from the median income calculated in the quarter preceding quarter of the request for purpose of the government address public assistance, but is not lower than 70 percent from the size of the regional subsistence minimum calculated for the specified quarter.
2. Recognize invalid some orders of the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the acting minister of work and social protection of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan according to appendix to this order.
3. To provide to department of the public assistance of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
1) state registration of this order in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2) placement of this order on Internet resource of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan after its official publication;
3) within ten working days after state registration of this order in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan submission to Department of legal service of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan of data on execution of the actions provided by subitems 1) and 2) of this Item.
4) bringing this order to managements of coordination of employment and social programs of areas, cities of Astana, Almaty and Shymkent.
