Concerning application of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine about the international automobile passenger and freight traffic (further - the Agreement) signed in Kiev on December 6, 2005 the agreement as follows is reached:

1. For the purposes of the Agreement it is necessary to understand as "Competent authorities":

from the Tajik side:

Ministry of transport of the Republic of Tajikistan

from the Ukrainian side:

Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine

2. The terms used in the Agreement mean the following:

"carrier" - the physical person or legal entity registered in the territory of one of Contracting Parties and authorized agrees with the existing national legal system and provisions to perform international carriages of passengers or loads road transport;

"passenger vehicle" (bus) - the vehicle which has more than eight places for sitting, except for driver's seats, and registered in the territory of one of Contracting Parties;

"cargo vehicle" - the vehicle registered in the territory of one of Contracting Parties or combination of vehicles from which at least the tractor is registered in the territory of one of Contracting Parties which on the design is intended for accomplishment of motor transportations of loads;

"regular transportations of passengers" - the transportations performed by vehicles of Contracting Parties according to in advance approved schedule, route with indication of initial and final Items of movement and stopping points;

"irregular transportations of passengers" - transportations which do not fall under determination regular transportations of passengers.
