About approval of procedure for the organization of calibration of measuring instruments

According to the subitem 3 of Item 9 of the Protocol on carrying out coordinated policy in the field of ensuring unity of measurements (appendix No. 10 to the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014) and Item 16 of appendix No. 2 to the Regulations of work of the Eurasian economic commission approved by the Decision of the Supreme Eurasian economic council of December 23, 2014 No. 98, Board of the Eurasian economic commission solved:

1. Approve the enclosed Procedure for the organization of calibration of measuring instruments.

2. This Decision becomes effective after 6 months from the date of its official publication, but not earlier than the date of entry into force of the decision of Council of the Eurasian economic commission on modification of the Decision of Council of the Eurasian economic commission of October 18, 2016 No. 145, of the results of calibration of measuring instruments concerning question of mutual recognition.

Procedure for the organization of calibration of measuring instruments

1. This Procedure establishes rules of the organization of calibration of measuring instruments (further - calibration) in state members of the Eurasian Economic Union (further respectively - state members, the Union) in spheres of activity, stipulated by the legislation state members, for the purpose of providing:

a) conditions of comparability of results of measurements and results of assessment of conformity of products to requirements of technical regulations of the Union and measurements of quantitative indices of products;
