1. Approve the enclosed Regulations on assignment of honourable names to territorial authorities, bodies, the organizations (organizations) and divisions of separate federal state bodies.

2. Bring in Item 3 of the Regulations on honourable names of associations, connections, military units (ships) and the organizations of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, other troops, military forming and bodies approved by the Presidential decree of the Russian Federation of July 12, 2000 No. 1292 "About approval of the Regulations on honourable names of associations, connections, military units (ships) and the organizations of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, other troops, military forming and bodies" (The Russian Federation Code, 2000, No. 29, Art. 3058; 2003, No. 47, Art. 4520; 2005, No. 32, Art. 3274; 2011, No. 40, Art. 5532; 2013, No. 13, Art. 1522; 2015, No. 14, Art. 2107; 2016, No. 50, Art. 7078; 2017, No. 40, Art. 5820), following changes:

a) the paragraph one to state in the following edition:

"3. Assignment of honourable names to associations, connections, military units (ships) of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, other troops, military forming and bodies (except military units (ships) specified in paragraph three of this Item), and also in exceptional cases to the organizations for especially outstanding merits before the state is made by the President of the Russian Federation on representation of the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, heads of other federal executive bodies in whom the military service is provided (further hereinafter are referred to as - federal executive bodies).";

b) add paragraph two with words "if other is not provided by this Provision".
