Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Belarus of November 3, 1992 No. 1902-XII "About defense" the following changes:

1. In Article 2:

the second to state part in the following edition:

"For defense the Republic of Belarus has the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, bodies of the border service, the state security agencies, the Presidential Security Service of the Republic of Belarus, territorial troops and other military forming created according to the legislation (further - Armed Forces, other troops and military forming), and also attracts law-enforcement bodies, the Investigative Committee, the State committee of judicial examinations, bodies of financial investigations of the State Control Committee, bodies and divisions on emergency situations.";

in word part three "the legislation of the Republic of Belarus" to replace with the word "legislation".

2. To state part one of Article 3 in the following edition:

"The legislation in the field of defense is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus and consists of this Law and other acts of the legislation.".

3. In Article 4:

word in paragraph three of "The military doctrine of the Republic of Belarus" shall be replaced with words "the military doctrine";

to state the paragraph of the twenty second in the following edition:

"preconscription and physical training;";

to exclude from the paragraph of the twenty third word "Republic of Belarus".

4. In Article 5 part two:

to exclude from paragraphs of the seventh, seventeenth and nineteenth word "Republic of Belarus";

5. Add the Law with Article 5-1 of the following content:

"Article 5-1. Powers of Vsebelorussky people's assembly in the field of defense

The Vsebelorussky people's assembly approves the military doctrine, the concept of homeland security.

Vsebelorussky people's assembly:

has the right to enter in the territory of the Republic of Belarus emergency or warlike situation in the presence of the bases provided by the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus and in case of failure to act of the President of the Republic of Belarus on these questions;

according to the proposal of the President of the Republic of Belarus makes the decision on possibility of the direction of the military personnel, the staff of paramilitary organizations, other persons out of limits of the Republic of Belarus for participation in ensuring collective security and activities for maintenance of international peace and safety.".

6. In Article 6 part two:

in the paragraph the second shall be replaced with words words of "The military doctrine of the Republic of Belarus" "the military doctrine and the concept of homeland security";

word in paragraph five "the military, extraordinary" shall be replaced with words "extraordinary or military";

after the paragraph of the fifth to add part with the paragraph of the following content:

"in the case provided by the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus without delay makes the decision on introduction in the territory of the Republic of Belarus of emergency or warlike situation;";

to exclude from the paragraph of the ninth word "Republic of Belarus".

7. In Article 7:

in word part one "warlike, emergency state" shall be replaced with words "legal regimes of extraordinary and military provisions";

in part two:

to exclude from the paragraph of the third word "Republic of Belarus";

word in paragraph four "the military, extraordinary" shall be replaced with words "extraordinary or military";

add part with the paragraph of the following content:

"in the cases provided by the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus having the right to address Vsebelorussky people's assembly with initiative about introduction in the territory of the Republic of Belarus of emergency or warlike situation.".

8. In the paragraph the sixteenth part two of Article 8 of the word "and legislation of the Republic of Belarus" shall be replaced with words "The Republic of Belarus and the legislation".

9. In Article 9:

to exclude from the name of Article of the word "Republic of Belarus";

in word part one of "defense of the Republic of Belarus" to replace with the word "defenses";

in part two:

to exclude from paragraphs of the first, third, eighth, sixteenth and seventeenth word "Republic of Belarus";

in the paragraph the second shall be replaced with words words of "The military doctrine of the Republic of Belarus" "the military doctrine".

10. In Article 10 part two:

in the paragraph the fourteenth shall be replaced with words the words "and military faculties of the organizations of secondary vocational and higher education performing training on specialties (the directions of specialties, specializations)" ", military faculties of organizations of secondary vocational education, military faculties and military institutes without the right of the legal entity of the institutions of higher education performing training on specialties";

in paragraphs the sixteenth and eighteenth "the legislation of the Republic of Belarus" to replace words with the word "legislation".

11. 11, of paragraphs of the third and fifth of Article 13, of the paragraph of the sixth of part one of Article 17, 20, Article parts two 23, names of Chapter 8 and Article 28 of the word "Republic of Belarus" to exclude Article parts two from the paragraph of the fifth of part two of Article.

12. In Article 12:

Article 2. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Belarus of November 3, 1992 No. 1904-XII "About Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus" the following changes:

3. State Article 14 in the following edition:

"Article 14. Activities of political parties and religious organizations in Armed Forces

Activities of political parties in Armed Forces are forbidden.
