About modification of some Orders of the Government (benefit on hiring and provision of housing to contract servicemen of Armed forces)

The government DECIDES:

1. In the Regulations on procedure for establishment and payment of monthly allowance for hiring of housing by the contract serviceman of Armed forces approved by the Order of the Government No. 694/2018 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2018, Art. No. 285-294, 812), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

Concept "garrison" to state 1) in Item 2 in the following edition:

"garrison - the settlement in which the contract serviceman performs military service, or other nearby settlements located at distance no more than 30 km from the settlement of execution of military service.";

Items 3-6 to state 2) in the following edition:

"3. To contract servicemen who together with members of the family have no in property of living space or do not use the office residential area / the living room in the hostel in total meeting standards, the minimum requirements to housing, the established Law No. 75/2015 on housing in garrison in which they perform military service, the monthly allowance in the amount of, provided by the employment contract which shall not exceed base rate for payroll calculation of workers of the budget sphere in the current year is established provided that contract servicemen and members of their families are included in the list on provision of office housing in the permanent place of execution of military service. The specified base rate is established annually by the law on the government budget.

4. The monthly allowance on hiring of housing is not granted if the contract serviceman refused provision of the office residential area / the living room in the hostel in total meeting the established standards, the minimum requirements to housing, the established Law No. 75/2015 on housing.
