About introduction of amendments to the laws of Ukraine "About recovery of victims of repressions of communist totalitarian regime of 1917-1991" and "About pensions for special merits in front of Ukraine" concerning fighters for independence of Ukraine in the 20th century and some other persons

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to the following laws of Ukraine:

1. Part the second article 7-2 of the Law of Ukraine "About recovery of victims of repressions of communist totalitarian regime of 1917-1991" (Sheets of the Supreme Council of USSR, 1991, No. 22, Art. 262; 2018, No. 20, the Art. 189) to add Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with Item 6 of the following content:

"6) provision of references to persons recognized as fighters for independence of Ukraine in the 20th century according to article 1 of the Law of Ukraine "About legal status and celebration of memory of fighters for independence of Ukraine in the 20th century" and according to this Law is rehabilitated, from among those which for political or religious motives were subjected to repressions in shape (forms) of imprisonment (conclusion) or the forced groundless placement of the healthy person to mental health facility according to the decision of extrajudicial or other repressive body, for the purposes determined by Item 7 of article 1 of the Law of Ukraine "About pensions for special merits in front of Ukraine".

2. In the Law of Ukraine "About pensions for special merits in front of Ukraine" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2000, No. 35, Art. 289 with the following changes):

Preamble and Article 1 to state 1) in the following edition:

"This Law provides establishment for separate categories of citizens for making of outstanding heroic act or outstanding labor achievement in certain period of the additional social benefits in the form of the additional or increased money payments, privileges or compensations for satisfaction of separate requirements.
