About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About prevention and treatment of narcological diseases"

In recent years in the republic complex measures for prevention, diagnostics and treatment of narcological diseases, development of medico-social resettlement of persons having narcological diseases are performed.
For the purpose of the early prevention of the cases menacing to safety and health of citizens, disorderly conduct of making of offenses by persons having narcological diseases there is need of registration of materials about the direction on forced treatment of these persons not only based on petitions of narcological organizations, family members (relatives), but also at the initiative of law-enforcement bodies.
With respect thereto the corresponding changes providing investment of law-enforcement bodies with power on registration of materials about the direction on forced treatment of persons having narcological diseases and also determination of procedure for data preparation of materials are made to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About prevention and treatment of narcological diseases". At the same time it is determined that clinical examinations along with narcological dispensaries can be conducted also in other medical institutions where there are corresponding specialists.
This Law will serve expansion of the group of people, the persons initiating the direction on forced treatment having narcological diseases, to the prevention of making of offenses and further improvement of quality and efficiency of rendering the narcological help.
Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of October 27, 2020 No. ZRU-644 "About prevention and treatment of narcological diseases" (Sheets of chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2020, No. 10, Art. 597; 2021, appendix to No. 4) following changes and amendment:
