The government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan which further are referred to as with the Parties

based on the friendly bonds existing between two states,

considering provisions of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan about check points through the Russian-Kazakhstan frontier of December 23, 1998,

for the purpose of further development of cooperation of both states, wishing to deepen the relations by partner technical cooperation,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

1. The parties perform cooperation with the purpose of coordination of actions on construction on the Kazakhstan-Russian frontier of the automobile check points intended for carrying out joint control (further - automobile check points). Places of dislocation of automobile check points are determined proceeding from physiographic conditions of land relief, development of infrastructure and road net by consultations of authorized bodies of the states of the Parties.

2. The authorized bodies of the states of the Parties responsible for implementation of this agreement are the executive bodies of the states of the Parties performing arrangement of automobile check points in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.

3. This agreement determines general procedure of technical cooperation between authorized bodies of the states of the Parties. Authorized bodies of the states of the Parties can sign supplementary agreements on single questions of technical cooperation.
