About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About the museums and museum case" rather further use of museum meetings in case of reorganization of the museums and provision of the state guarantees

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About the museums and museum case" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1995, No. 25, Art. 191; 1999, No. 28, Art. 231; 2010, No. 5, Art. 45; 2014, No. 5, Art. 62; with the changes made by the Law of Ukraine of November 18, 2021 No. 1909-IX) the following changes:

add Article 10 with part five of the following content:

"In case of reorganization (merge, accession, separation, allocation, transformation) the museums founded on the state and utility patterns of ownership, the procedure for further use of their museum meetings is determined by the founder in coordination with the central executive body providing forming of state policy in spheres of culture and arts";

to state part one of Article 23 in the following edition:

"The museum objects, museum collections, museum meetings of Museum fund of Ukraine and objects of museum value which are subject to entering into Museum fund of Ukraine which are temporarily exported out of limits of Ukraine for exhibiting, restoration or conducting scientific examination are subject to compulsory insurance or provision of the state guarantees of financial covering of any risk by the country which accepts such objects, for their stay outside the museum in which they are stored".

II. Final provisions

1. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.

2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in six-months time from the date of entry into force of this Law:

bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law;

provide reduction by the ministries and other central executive bodies of their regulatory legal acts in compliance with this Law.
