In recent years necessary measures for support and further development of industry of livestock production, ensuring food security due to increase in production of livestock products are implemented.
At the same time availability of ample opportunities for cultivation of forage crops for the cattle in certain regions of the country causes the necessity of review and increase in the sizes of the parcels of land allocated for Dehkan economy established by the legislation.
This Law makes changes and amendment to the Land code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About Dehkan economy", providing increase in the maximum size of the parcels of land allocated for maintaining Dehkan economy from 1 hectare to 5 hectares for the purpose of cultivation of forage crops for the cattle in certain regions of the country.
This Law will serve support of producers of livestock products in certain regions of the country and providing strong growth of production in this sphere.
