About ensuring technological sovereignty

Based on part two of article 35 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of July 23, 2008 No. 424-Z "About Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus" and for the purpose of forming of technological sovereignty by realization of the system measures aimed at the innovative development of national economy, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES:

1. Create Interdepartmental council on ensuring technological sovereignty (further if other is not established, – Council).

2. Approve Regulations on Interdepartmental council on ensuring technological sovereignty it (is applied).

3. Determine:

structure of Interdepartmental council on ensuring technological sovereignty according to appendix 1;

form of the list of critical technologies (goods), development and (or) upgrade of which is directed to overcoming dependence on import of crucial technologies (goods), according to appendix 2 (further if other is not determined, – the list of critical technologies (goods).

4. For the purposes of this resolution the following terms and their determinations are used:

critical technologies – the industry technologies and technologies having cross-industry character, necessary for production of critical goods, having system value for functioning of economy, the solution of social and economic tasks and ensuring national security of the Republic of Belarus and also import-substituting orientation. Development and (or) upgrade of critical technologies and production on their basis of critical goods (further if other is not established, – development and (or) upgrade of critical technologies (goods) shall promote achievement of technological sovereignty;
