Technique of determination of the minimum size of the monthly salary

1. This technique of determination of the minimum size of the monthly salary (further - technique) is developed according to the subitem 8) of Article 15 of the Labor code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and is applied when carrying out calculations for establishment of the minimum size of the monthly salary.

2. For the purposes of this technique the following basic concepts are used:

1) labor productivity - the production performance indicator characterizing the production counting on unit of the used resources representing ratio of production volume and costs of manpower;

2) the minimum size of the monthly salary - guaranteed minimum of money payments to the worker of simple unqualified (least complex) work in case of accomplishment of labor obligations by it in normal conditions and at the normal duration of working hours, established by the Labor code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in month;

3) the median salary - the salary size which is in the center of number of distribution of number of workers for the sizes of accrued payroll and dividing it into two equal parts - with the salary below and above median.
