2. Being guided by the principles of article 6 of the Criminal code of Turkmenistan, to determine that the moratorium on application of capital punishment as measures of criminal penalty extends to persons condemned to capital punishment before introduction of the moratorium in action.
3. Persons condemned to capital punishment till January 1, 1999 go to corrective labor colonies for their content on the conditions provided in the relation of persons serving sentences in colonies of particular treatment.
4. This Law becomes effective from the moment of its acceptance.
