About establishment of alternative methods of remote identification of physical person and approval of the Procedure of remote identification of physical person by means of digital means

Based on the subitem d) Item 4) parts (2) article 10 of the Law No. 124/2022 on electronic identification and confidential services (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2022, Art. No. 170-176, 317) DECIDES: the Government

1. Establish two alternative methods of remote identification of physical person:

1) remote identification of person by means of the automated digital means of check without participation of the person operator;

2) remote identification of person by means of digital means of check with participation of the person operator.

2. Implementation by skilled suppliers of confidential services of the alternative methods of identification provided in Item 1, is optional and is performed according to the Procedure of remote identification of physical person by means of digital means.

3. Approve the Procedure of remote identification of physical person by means of digital means it (is applied).

4. This resolution becomes effective after 3 months from the date of publication in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova.
