Some questions of liability insurance for nuclear damage

According to part four of article 8 of the Law of Ukraine "About the civil responsibility for nuclear harm and its financial provision" the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

1. Authorize the Department of Energy on implementation of payments for compensation of the nuclear harm done by nuclear incident on nuclear installations of "National Atomic Power Generation Company "Energoatom", National Scientific Center" joint-stock company the Kharkiv physics and technology institute", Institute of nuclear researches of National academy of Sciences and the state specialized enterprise "Chernobyl NPP".

2. Recognize invalid resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine according to the enclosed list.

3. To Department of Energy together with the Ministry of environment protection and natural resources in three-months time from the date of entry into force of this resolution to develop and approve in coordination with National Bank procedure and conditions of liability insurance of the operator of nuclear installation for nuclear harm.
