About procedure for maintaining the state water register

According to the Water code of the Russian Federation the Government of the Russian Federation decides:

1. Approve the enclosed Regulations on maintaining the state water register.

2. Determine that the state water register joins data of the state water inventory of the Russian Federation as of January 1, 2007 which maintaining was performed according to the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of November 23, 1996 N1403 (The Russian Federation Code, 1996, N 49, Art. 5566; 2006, N 5, Art. 554).

3. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Russian Federation approves form of the state water register and rule of registration of state registration in the state water register of agreements of water use, decisions on provision of water objects in use, transition of the rights and obligations under agreements of water use, termination of agreements of water use.

4. For the purpose of forming of the state water register to perform till July 1, 2007 transfer on a grant basis to Federal Agency for Water Resources of data as of January 1, 2007 to the following federal executive bodies:

a) The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation data on use of water objects for needs of agricultural industry, including for the purpose of water consumption and water disposal, and also about the state meliorative systems and about separately located hydraulic engineering constructions carried to state-owned property on water objects;

b) Federal registration Service - data on documents based on which there was property right to water objects, hydraulic engineering and other constructions located on water objects;

c) Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring - data of the state water inventory of the Russian Federation on superficial water objects;

d) Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare - data on sanitary and epidemiologic situation on water objects;
