About measures for implementation of the Presidential decree of the Republic of Tajikistan of February 8, 2025 No. 962

In pursuance of the presidential decree of the Republic of Tajikistan of February 8, 2025 "About measures for strengthening of level of social protection of the population, increase in the operating official pay rates of government employees, employees of state-financed organizations, the sizes of pensions and grants" the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan decides No. 962:

1. Since September 1, 2025:

- establish the minimum wage for all economic and social spheres of the republic in the amount of 1000 somoni a month;

- increase official pay rates of employees of organizations of preschool and general secondary education by 30 percent;

- increase official pay rates of employees of other organizations of education, sciences, cultures, sport, health care, organizations of the sphere of social protection, employees of law enforcement agencies, the military personnel, authorities and public administration and other budgetary institutions by 20 percent;

- increase the size of basic salary for calculation of official pay rate of workers of health sector by 20 percent and establish 744 somoni in the amount;

- establish the size of basic salary as basis of tariff coefficients for government employees of managerial positions of the highest category of 1345 somoni, the first, second, third, fourth categories of public service of state bodies, local executive bodies of the government, self-government institutions of settlements and dekhot of 1255 somoni and for managerial positions of the fifth, sixth, seventh category of public service, the specified bodies of 1390 somoni;

- increase the operating grants of students and other types of grants, including presidential grants (except for cadets of the highest military organizations and Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan) by 20 percent;

- increase official pay rates (tariff charges) of the military personnel, employees of law enforcement agencies and other employees of these bodies by 20 percent;
