About introduction of amendments to the Resolution of Board of the National Bank of Ukraine of February 24, 2022 No. 18
According to Articles 7, of 15, 56 Laws of Ukraine "About the National Bank of Ukraine", for the purpose of determination of features of functioning of the monetary and currency markets in the conditions of the warlike situation Board of the National Bank of Ukraine decide:
1. Bring in the resolution of Board of the National Bank of Ukraine of February 24, 2022 No. 18 "About work of bank system during introduction of warlike situation" (with changes) the following changes:
Item 12-15 to add 1) with the new subitem of the following content:
"30) placed no later than March 01, 2025 on the account of resident [the state company or economic society, which 100 percent of shares (shares) belong to the state] opened for them in bank only for the purposes of accomplishment of condition of the credit agreement / loan agreement signed between this resident as the borrower and the nonresident concerning preserving on such account of certain amount of means in foreign currency. The amount of means in foreign currency and the term of their preserving on this account are determined according to the specified condition of the credit agreement / loan agreement.
Requirements of paragraph one of the subitem 30 of Item 12-15 of this resolution are applied only to the credit agreement / loan agreement under which the nonresident provided credit/loan at the expense of the funds raised by placement (issue) of foreign debt securities, and obligations of the resident borrower under this credit agreement / loan agreement were restructured on the conditions approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.";
