About approval of Changes in Regulations on licensing of banks
According to Articles 7, 15 and 56 Laws of Ukraine "About the National Bank of Ukraine", articles 66 and 67 of the Law of Ukraine "About banks and banking activity", the Law of Ukraine "About ministerial procedure", for the purpose of harmonization of procedures of the National Bank of Ukraine concerning licensing of banks with the general principles of ministerial procedure, increase in transparency and efficiency of implementation of functions of public administration by the National Bank of Ukraine, and also decide enhancements of procedure for licensing of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine banks:
1. Approve the Change in Regulations on licensing of banks approved by the resolution of Board of the National Bank of Ukraine of December 22, 2018 No. 149 (with changes) (further - Provisions) which are applied.
2. The National Bank of Ukraine performs consideration of the applications, the petitions, documents received till December 31, 2024 on which as of January 01, 2025 the decision, according to the Provision taking into account the terms determined by the legislation of Ukraine, operating for December 31, 2024 since January 01, 2025 is not made.
3. To department of methodology of regulation of activities of banks (Oksana Prisyazhenko) after official publication to inform banks of Ukraine information on adoption of this resolution.
4. The resolution becomes effective since January 1, 2025.
