About modification and amendments in some acts of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with further acceleration of market reforms and achievements of membership of Uzbekistan in the World Trade Organization

According to the Presidential decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan of June 3, 2024 No. UP-85 "About the Next Measures for Further Acceleration of Market Reforms and Reduction of the National Legal System of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Compliance with Agreements of the World Trade Organization" and for the purpose of consecutive interpretation of activities of industries monopolists on the market principles, and also further increase in share of private sector in economy:

1. Make changes and additions to some acts of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to appendix providing:

cancellation of the special (exclusive) rights of a number of the companies with the state participation;

ensuring not collection of customs fees in the fiscal purposes;

modification of forms of business and the name of the Uzbek agency on technical regulation and the organizations of its system in connection with enhancement of public administration in the field of technical regulation;

implementation of procedure for declaring of compliance of food and agricultural products;

reduction of requirements of energy efficiency of household electric appliances in the territory of the republic in compliance with the international standards.

2. Assign to the Minister of Justice A. Zh. Tashkulov and the director of the Uzbek agency on technical regulation A. R. Zhumanazarov the personal responsibility for the effective organization of execution of this Decree.

Implementation of coordination and control of activities of the departments responsible for execution of this Decree to assign to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. N. Aripov.
