About change of the Presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus

For the purpose of enhancement of the organization of traffic, decrease in number of the road accidents and increase in culture of participants of traffic I decide:

1. Make changes to the Traffic regulations approved by the Presidential decree of the Republic of Belarus of November 28, 2005 No. 551 (appendix).

2. Physical persons and legal entities which have in property of the device, more than 25 km/h relating before entry into force of this Decree to means of personal mobility and having the maximum constructive speed of movement, have the right:

address for their state registration in divisions of the State automobile inspection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in case of confirmation of conformity to types of "moped" or "motorcycle" vehicles according to requirements of the technical regulation of the Customs union "About safety of wheel vehicles" (TR CU 018/2011) accepted by the Decision of the Commission of the Customs union of December 9, 2011 No. 877, for the purpose of their further participation in traffic;

use without state registration such devices on roads without advanced covering, moving on roadside during daylight hours, and in the absence of roadside - by carriageway not further of 1 meter from its right edge. With participation in traffic of person, moving on these devices, are equated to drivers of motorized vehicles and if the vehicle has weight less than 35 kg and on it there is no seat and steering - to drivers of non motorized vehicles.
