About modification of the order of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan of February 14, 2017 No. 66 "About approval of the Regulations on special status of the organizations of the higher and (or) postgraduate education"

1. Bring in the order of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan of February 14, 2017 No. 66 "About approval of the Regulations on special status of the organizations of the higher and (or) postgraduate education" the following changes:

in Regulations on the special status of the organizations of the higher and (or) postgraduate education approved by the specified resolution:

state Item 3 in the following edition:

"3. Special status - the status of the organization of the higher and (or) postgraduate education appropriated by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for introduction of outstanding contribution to education, training and professional formation of the personality, ensuring steadily high level of the higher and (or) postgraduate education.";

state Item 5 in the following edition:

"5. The organizations of the higher and (or) postgraduate education having special status perform types of activity and have the competences determined by article 43-1 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About education".

At the same time the organizations of the higher and (or) postgraduate education having special status can independently determine content of the higher and postgraduate education which shall be not below requirements of the state obligatory standards of the higher and postgraduate education, and also to award degree of the doctor of philosophy (PhD) and the doctor on profile according to the procedure determined by authorized body in the field of science and the higher education.";

in Item 6:

1) to state the subitem in the following edition:

"1) is guaranteed by steadily high level of the higher and (or) postgraduate education conforming to the international standards on the basis of effective use of scientific and pedagogical potential, educational material resources and innovative educational technologies;";
