About creation of the special economic zone "Korkyt Ata" and modification of some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan

According to the subitem 2) of article 10 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About special economic and industrial zones" the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan DECIDES:

1. Create the special economic zone "Korkyt Ata" (further – SEZ "Korkyt Ata") for the period till December 31, 2049.

2. Approve enclosed:

1) Regulations on SEZ "Korkyt Ata";

2) SEZ "Korkyt Ata" target indicators;

3) changes which are made to some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. This resolution becomes effective from the date of its signing.

Regulations on the special economic zone "Korkyt Ata"

Chapter 1. General provisions

1. The special economic zone "Korkyt Ata" (further – SEZ) is located in the territory of the Kyzylorda area, in southeast part of the city of Kyzylorda, near the international transport corridor "Western Europe – the Western China" and the bypass road of the international airport "Korkyt Ata" in borders according to appendix to this Provision.

SEZ is port special economic zone.

The territory of SEZ constitutes 550 hectares and is integral part of the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
