About introduction of amendments to the Federal law "About Breeding Livestock Production"

Article 1

Bring in the Federal Law of August 3, 1995 No. 123-FZ "About breeding livestock production" (The Russian Federation Code, 1995, No. 32, Art. 3199; 2011, No. 30, Art. 4596; 2023, No. 32, Art. 6186) following changes:

"Article 13.1. Self-regulation in the field of breeding livestock production

Creation of the self-regulatory organizations performing activities in the field of breeding livestock production by types of industries of livestock production (further - self-regulatory organizations of breeding livestock production), is performed on voluntary membership of breeding farms.

Self-regulatory organizations of breeding livestock production shall conform to requirements imposed to self-regulatory organizations by the Federal Law of December 1, 2007 on No. 315-FZ "About self-regulatory organizations" if other is not established by this Federal Law.

Along with the functions provided by provisions of the Federal Law of December 1, 2007 No. 315-FZ "About self-regulatory organizations" self-regulatory organizations of breeding livestock production have the right to perform the following functions:

confirm compliance of breeding animals and (or) breeding herds to the standards established by self-regulatory organizations of breeding livestock production;

perform issue of the certificate (certificate) confirming compliance of breeding animals and (or) breeding herds to the standards established by self-regulatory organizations of breeding livestock production;

perform verification (check) of information about the breeding animals and (or) breeding herds belonging to breeding farms - to members of self-regulatory organization of breeding livestock production;
