In compliance with Item 2 of article 57 of the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014 and Item 20 of appendix No. 2 to the Regulations of work of the Eurasian economic commission approved by the Decision of the Supreme Eurasian economic council of December 23, 2014 No. 98, Board of the Eurasian economic commission SOLVED:

1. Make to Section 11 Chapters II of Single sanitary and epidemiologic and hygienic requirements to products (goods) which are subject to sanitary and epidemiological surveillance (control), No. approved by the Decision of the Commission of the Customs union of May 28, 2010 299, change according to appendix.

2. This Decision becomes effective after 30 calendar days from the date of its official publication.

The change made to Section 11 of Chapter II of Single sanitary and epidemiologic and hygienic requirements to products (goods) which are subject to sanitary and epidemiological surveillance (control)

To state Section 11 of Chapter II in the following edition:

"Section 11. Requirements to products, the products which are source of the ionizing radiation including generating and also to the products and goods containing radioactive materials

1. General requirements

In case of all types of the address with products (goods) and products included in Items 5, of 7, of 9, of the 11 and 15 Section I of the Single list of products (goods) which are subject to the state sanitary and epidemiological surveillance (control) on customs border and customs area of the Eurasian Economic Union approved by the Decision of the Commission of the Customs union of May 28, 2010 No. 299, incorporating sources of ionizing radiation (further – III) or exerting impact on levels of radiation of people, radiation safety of the population shall be ensured.

Radiation safety of the population is understood as ensuring acceptable level of security of these and future generations of people from impact of ionizing radiation, harmful to their health, as a result of fulfillment of requirements to all types of products containing III, and to conditions of its use under which the unacceptable risk of adverse effect of ionizing radiation on human health as in the present, and in the future is excluded.

All types of the products containing III and intended for work with III or exerting impact on radiation of people shall meet requirements of radiation safety, that is ensure radiation safety of the population in case of observance of the safety requirements in case of the address with the corresponding type of products containing in management on its operation. Therefore the specific values of numerical indicators of admissible level of radiation determined in requirements to products can significantly depend on rules of the treatment of her.

All types of products containing III shall be safe during the service life established for it in technical documentation, to be completed with necessary devices and spare components according to the list containing in the passport of products.

All types of products containing technogenic III shall provide in case of observance of the established requirements to the treatment of her restriction of annual doses of technogenic radiation of all categories the irradiated persons of no more set limits, and also fulfillment of requirements specified in table 1.

Control, accounting, the admission on the market of products containing III, permission to its operation and licensing of the activities connected with the address with III are performed according to the legislation of state members.
