I. Purposes

1. Determine target indicators of development of livestock industry in 2026 - 2028:

(a) bringing livestock of cattle to 16,5 of one million, sheep and goats - to 30 million, the number of bird - to 141 million;

(b) finishing level of conversion of livestock products (meat and milk) by industrial method to 50 percent;

(c) increase in productivity of the cattle by bringing share of the breeding cattle to 90 percent;

(d) increase in the areas under forage crops on the parcels of land of agricultural purpose in time 1,5.

II. Implementation of new management system

Take into consideration that the Presidential decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan of May 12, 2026 No. UP-84 "About Measures for Implementation of Single Public Administration and the Control System in Spheres of Safety of Food Products, Phytosanitation and Veterinary Science" under the Ministry of Agriculture creates Agency on development of livestock production and pasturable economy (further - the Agency).

3. Determine that:

(a) The agency is determined responsible for strategic planning and coordination of development of livestock industry, rational and effective use of pastures, determination of the directions by regions, and also support, methodological providing and monitoring of business projects on increase in cultivation of livestock products;

(b) under the Agency the Fund of support of industries of livestock production without the status of the legal entity is created (further - Fund).
