About measures for the organization of activities of Committee on safety of food products

For the purpose of ensuring execution of the Presidential decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan of May 12, 2026 I decide No. UP-84 "About Measures for Implementation of Single Public Administration and the Control System in Spheres of Safety of Food Products, Phytosanitation and Veterinary Science":

I. Organization of activities of Committee on safety of food products

1. Approve:

(a) Organizational structure of Committee on safety of food products according to appendix No. 1 *;

(b) "Road map" on step-by-step implementation of single system of safety of food products and deepening of reforms in the field of it agrees to appendix No. 2*.

2. Form the Working group on the effective organization of execution of the tasks assigned to Committee on safety of food products (further - Committee), and coordination of reforms in the field of (further - the Working group) in structure according to appendix No. 3*.

3. To working group till August 1, 2026 to carry out inventory count of the property connected with activities in the field of safety of food products, phytosanitation and veterinary science (further - safety of food products), to organize realization of all measures connected with its transfer to Committee.

4. Determine that:

(a) management of Committee is performed by the chairman appointed to position and dismissed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

(b) The committee submits and is accountable to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

(c) the chairman of Committee has 5 deputies, including the one first deputy, appointed to position and dismissed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

(d) the chairman of Committee and its deputies for the status, conditions of medical and transport attendance are equated respectively to the minister and the deputy minister;
