1. According to article 8 of the Law of Turkmenistan "About election of the president of Turkmenistan" the expenses connected with elections of the President of Turkmenistan and election propaganda are performed at the expense of means of the Government budget of Turkmenistan. Expense budgets are constituted separately on the Central commission on elections and holding referenda in Turkmenistan (the Central Electoral Commission hereinafter is referred to as further), to the electoral commissions of welayats and Ashgabat and on each candidate for president of Turkmenistan (the candidate hereinafter is referred to as further).
Expense budgets of the Central Electoral Commission and the electoral commissions of welayats and Ashgabat affirm the Central Electoral Commission and are represented to the Ministry of Economics and finance of Turkmenistan. Expense budgets of candidates for president of Turkmenistan affirm respectively candidates in coordination with the Central Electoral Commission and are represented to the Ministry of Economics and finance of Turkmenistan.
