1. Approve the Front charter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine it (is applied).

2. This Law becomes effective from the date of its publication.

Front charter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

This Charter determines front acceptances and movements without weapon and with weapon; systems of divisions and military units in pedestrian procedure and by machines; procedure for accomplishment of military greeting, carrying out front survey; the place of the Battle Flag of military unit in system, procedure for its introduction and carrying out; obligations of the military personnel before creation and in system and requirements to their front training.

The charter is obligatory for all military units, managements, headquarters, the organizations, organizations and military educational institutions.

Crews of the ships and other divisions of Naval forces are guided by this Charter if another is not determined by the ship Charter of Voyenno - Sea Powers of Ukraine.

Operation of this Charter extends to the military personnel of Service of foreign intelligence of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, Public service of special communication and information security of Ukraine, National guard of Ukraine, the State Border Service of Ukraine, the Public special service of transport, Management of the state protection of Ukraine formed according to the laws of Ukraine of other military forming, bodies of special purpose with law-enforcement functions.

Provisions of this Charter extend to persons liable for call-up and reservists during passing of charges by them.

Section I. General provisions

1. Systems and management of them

1. System - determined by the Front charter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (further - the Charter) accommodation of the military personnel, divisions and parts for their collateral actions in pedestrian procedure and/or by machines.

2. Rank - system in which the military personnel is placed one near another on one line.

The line of machines - system in which machines are placed on one line the friend near the friend.

3. The flank - the right (left) edge of system. During turns of system of the name of flanks do not change.

4. The front - the party of system to which the military personnel is turned by person, and machines - front part.

5. The system back - the party opposite to the front.

6. Interval - distance on the front between the military personnel (machines), divisions and parts.

7. Distance - distance in depth between the military personnel (machines), divisions and parts.

8. System width - distance between flanks.

9. System depth - distance from the first rank (the serviceman who costs ahead) to the last rank (the serviceman who costs behind), and during actions by machines - distance from the first line of machines (machines which stand ahead) to the last line of machines (machines which stand behind).

The Dvukhsherengovy system - system in which the military personnel of one rank is placed for the military personnel of other rank at distance of one step (the outstretched arm put by palm on shoulder of the serviceman standing ahead). The march formation is applied to movement of divisions, passing by solemn march or from songs and in other necessary cases.

16. Control of system is exercised to teams and orders which are submitted by the commander voice, signals and personal example and which are transmitted through technical and motive means.

Teams and orders can be transmitted by column through commanders of divisions (the senior machines) and observers.

The senior commander is in system there from where it is more convenient to it to order. Other commanders exercise control, remaining on the places established by this Charter or the senior commander.

17. Teams are divided on preparatory and executive, however can be only executive.

19. Teams (signals) which concern all divisions are accepted immediately and are carried out by all commanders of divisions, commanders and seniors of machines.

During issuing the command the signal gives previously signal "ATTENTION" and if the team concerns only one of divisions, then the signal relating to this division is given. The corresponding signals which mark divisions are established by the commander of part (division).

Readiness for acceptance of team signal is also reflected signal "ATTENTION".

Acceptance of signal is confirmed by its repeating or giving of the corresponding signal to the division.

21. 22. In case of forming of national teams of the military personnel front distribution to divisions is carried out them. For distribution the military personnel is built in dvukhsherengovy system and is distributed on general numbering as it is stated in article 103 of this Charter. After that, depending on team number, distribution consistently to companies, platoons and departments is carried out and commanders of these divisions are appointed.

For participation in parades, and also in other cases the division by order of the commander can be built in general column on three, on four and more. At the same time creation is carried out, as a rule, on growth (formation).

2. Obligations of the military personnel before creation and in system

25. The commander shall:

determine the place, time, procedure for creation, dress code and equipments, and also arms and the equipment; in case of need to appoint the observer;

check and know availability in system of subordinates of the division (divisions, part), arms, the equipment, ammunition, individual protection equipment and the shantsevy tool;

check appearance of subordinates, and also availability of equipment and correctness of its adjustment;

support discipline in system and require exact accomplishment by divisions of teams and signals, and the military personnel - the obligations in system;

during submission of commands in pedestrian system to accept front provision;

perform external inspection of arms and the equipment if divisions are built with it; check availability and operability of the equipment for transportation of staff, and also correctness of fixture of equipment which is transported; remind staff of security measure; during movement to observe certain distances, speed and traffic regulation.

26. The serviceman shall:

check operability of the weapon, the assigned to it arms and technicians, ammunition, individual protection equipment, shantsevy tool, regimentals and equipment;

have short tidy hairstyle;

it is tidy to fill regimentals, it is correct to put on and adjust equipment, to help the companion to eliminate the noticed defects;

keep at distance in system, become in system quickly, without turmoil; during movement to keep alignment, interval and distance; not fail (machines) without the permission;

in system without the permission not to talk, observe complete silence; be attentive to orders (orders) and teams (signals) of the commander, to expedite them and precisely, without disturbing others;
